Residential Solar
Gallup Solar is in the process of developing information for
people who want to build their own solar project. More
information will be added to this section as it is developed.
We have a list of New Mexico companies involved in solar projects. Some have links to an internet site, others do not. For more information on one of these companies, use an internet search engine or the yellow pages. If you know
of companies we have not listed, please send us a note with
information on the company.
To help you determine requirements of a project you are working
on we have a page which contains various
energy calculator and links to other useful sites for estimating
various aspects of a solar project.
We have compiled a glossary of terms
commonly used to describe
solar energy elements and equipment. This list is a work
in progress and will be added to. If you know of a term
which should be included here or have a better definition,
please send us a note with it and your definition. We will
try to include it in the next revision of the glossary.
There are a number of incentives for those who install solar
equipment. Our incentives
page provides most of those
applicable to New Mexico. It also contains links to
sources of information for other states.
