Gallup Solar's Spring 2012 Workshop, with Richard Komp, Ph.D., at UNM-Gallup
During the Spring of 2012, Gallup Solar brought solar pioneer Richard Komp, Ph.D., to the University of New Mexico, Gallup branch, to teach Navajo, Zuni, and other community members how to build solar panels and passive solar. Dr. Komp has taught people in third world countries how to build and install their own photovoltaic solar panels and passive solar devices such as water heaters and solar ovens.
